Make It Happen welcomes spring with a special Shire-inspired 3D printing project inspired by The Lord of the Rings. This themed design will come to life layer by layer as you watch your creation take shape on the printer and transform into a finished piece worthy of Middle-earth. It is the perfect opportunity to build your skills, explore your creativity, and create something truly unique.

Participants must already have a Beanstack account and have earned their 3D Printer Badge before registering.

This teen (16 and up) & adult program uses Library of Congress women’s suffrage primary sources, such as letters, diaries, and women’s self-published information sources, to examine how suffragists documented their activism and feelings on women’s rights and social issues of the time.

Program attendees use recycled books, scrapbook paper, stamps, ephemera and personal effects to start their own scrapbook and create their own DIY personal history (that might become a future primary source!).
