For over 15 years, Books Alive has presented beloved children’s books adapted into original, fully staged musicals, brought to life by its professional touring company, promoting literacy and introducing audiences to the magic of theatre!

This year's presentation is based on the book "The Ballerina with Webbed Feet" by Pam Von Scoyoc.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science will be presenting Science on Stage: Dinosaur Discovery! Experience the world of dinosaurs! Discover their lives, diets, and adaptations through interactive presentations. Meet real fossilized specimens and marvel at their bones, horns, claws, teeth, and skin. Learn what makes dinosaurs incredible!

Ticket required to attend the event. Free tickets will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting Monday, June 29th.

The Barbara Bush Branch Library is excited to host Challenge Island – Cypress!

This program bring hands-on STEAM fun to the community. Through creative, team-based challenges, children will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math in an engaging and interactive environment. Our programs encourage creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and imagination while making learning fun for all.

For the Atascocita Branch Library sessions, sign up for this class session on Team Karate Academy's website. The first summer session runs from July 6 - 27 at the Atascocita Branch Library. The 10:30 AM sessions are for children ages 4-7 years old. The last class session (graduation) meets on August 3rd at Team Karate Academy's dojo.
