Space Center Houston’s state-of-the-art portable planetarium is an exciting and dynamic tool for learning about astronomy and space exploration. Participants will be immersed in a digital recreation of the solar system! Shows last 15 to 30 minutes and will run all afternoon.

"Off the Hook" is a fiber arts-based program where kids will use different elements, such as yarn or fabric, and different techniques, such as crochet or sewing, to complete an art project.
*Recommended for children ages 5-11, younger siblings are welcome with a parent or guardian.
Classical Sing Move Play classes provide an introduction to melody, rhythm, instrument play time, and movement with music from famous operas and classical symphonies to folk songs.
The Music of Mexico class, led by opera singers Alisa and Alejandro Magallón, will explore some of the most well known tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs.
Recommended for ages 2-5. Children of all ages are welcome.
Join us at the Baldwin Boettcher Library for a Hispanic Heritage Month decoration party! All ages are welcome to create decorations celebrating Hispanic and Latino cultures. Materials are provided, and no crafting experience is needed. Help us adorn the library with colorful displays!
Join us for our weekly homeschool meet up, where kids can engage in STEAM activities such as building challenges, fiber art crafts, science experiments, process art, games, and more, all while having fun and socializing. This story time includes stories, songs, and activities. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal! Surprise! Each child may choose one free book at the end of the program!
