Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and a take-home craft to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards kids ages 3-5 years.
Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.

Classics Revisited continues Thursday, February 19 at 10:15 AM in our upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom. We look forward to showing Tombstone, the 1993 American Western film inspired by real events that took place in the 1880s in Southeast Arizona, including the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and the Earp Vendetta Ride. This film stars Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Michael Biehn, Dana Delany, and Sam Elliott. Rated R for violence, Tombstone lasts 2 hours, 10 minutes. Adults – the Next Chapter Monday Matinee returns Monday, February 23 at 2:00 PM in our upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom. We look forward to seeing Cool Runnings, the 1993 sports comedy loosely based on the debut of the Jamaican national bobsleigh team at the 1988 Winter Olympics. This film stars Leon, Doug E. Doug, Rawle D. Lewis, Malik Yoba, and John Candy. Rated PG, this film lasts 1 hour, 38 minutes and includes closed captions. Light refreshments provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.
The Next Chapter Feature Film Series returns for 2026 on Thursday, February 26 at 10:15 AM in the Innovation Lab Classroom. We look forward to showing Hidden Figures (2016), a biographical drama about three female African-American mathematicians providing crucial calculations for NASA's space race against the Soviets, all while dealing with the racist and sexist assumptions of their white co-workers. This film stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe, Kirsten Dunst, and Jim Parsons.
