Come learn about contemporary African American Art from our speaker, Gerry Aitken, from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Speakers Bureau to celebrate Black History Month! Below is a description of the presentation:
Are you ready to learn more English? Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 pm - 2 pm starting February 3 and ending April 2 (no classes the week of March 14-21).

Join us to write along to some writing prompts, chat, make friends, and unwind! This program is for adults 18+. A journal will be provided if you don't already have one! No writing experience needed, just an open mind for adopting a new hobby :) We also sometimes collage and do other creative crafts!
The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library will host beginning watercolor classes for adults ages 18+. Attendees are required to bring three watercolor brushes which are 1 x #4 round brush, 1 x #8 round brush, and 1 x 1-inch oval mop brush. We will meet in the Baldwin Boettcher Branch meeting room. The class registration limit is ten, and attendees are required to attend all four classes.

Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library will host a mug decorating craft for adults ages 18+. The participants will use ceramic friendly sharpies to decorate their mug writing famous quotes from notable Black History personages.
