Happy Mardi Gras! Tweens ages 8-12 are invited to learn how to cook King Cake Oreo Bites at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Tuesday, February 17th at 4:30pm.

A waiver is required to attend the program which will be emailed upon registration.

The ingredients include gluten, dairy, and chocolate. Please let us know if you have any food allergies.

Tommy Terrific's Wacky Magic will be performing a magic show about Satchel Paige and Negro League Baseball. The show will be filled with baseball-themed magic tricks and explore the life and accomplishments of baseball pitcher Satchel Paige. From his all star touring shows to his amazing records with the Negro Leagues to his Hall of Fame induction as baseball's oldest rookie and oldest player, Satchel Paige is a true American original. 

This program is geared for kids ages 3-12.

Wiggle, giggle, and read together!
Join other toddlers and their parents or caregivers for weekly Toddler Time Storytime every Thursday at 10:15 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. Each session features age-appropriate stories, songs, and fingerplays designed to encourage early literacy, movement, and fun interaction.

This program is specially geared for toddlers ages 18–35 months and their caregivers. No ticket required—just drop in and join the fun!

New to journaling? Already love it and want to connect with others?

Join us for Freeman Scribblers, a relaxed, creative space where we’ll explore different journaling styles and techniques for all kinds of writers — from beginners to seasoned journalers.

Some materials will be provided.  Participants are encouraged to bring a blank or recurring journal and any favorite journaling supplies they’d like to use.
