AARP Tax Aide will once again be available at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  This service will be available  Mondays from 11 am to 3 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm.  Service Begins: Monday, February 2, 2025 – Ends: Monday, April 13, 2025.  No Service on Saturday, April 4 due to Easter Holiday.

This program is free and available to the public.  You do NOT have to be a member of AARP, nor are there income or age limits on who can use this free service.

Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

Adults and Children are welcome

Walk-ins are Welcome

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.

Calling all knitting, crocheting, embroidery and other needlecraft enthusiasts! Work on your projects in a welcoming environment as you mix and mingle with fellow enthusiasts in the area.

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is an opportunity for teenagers to voice their ideas and opinions regarding library programs. Participation can be used for community service hours. 

You don't need a library card to participate in this meeting. You also do not need to register, just show up!

Come join us next week for a relaxing cut and paste session! You will get to create your own poems using words and phrases clipped from magazines.

This event will be the last Teen Advisory Board meeting before the start of the Summer Reading Program so attendance is highly encouraged! Join us for this fun activity and learn how to make an impact this summer. Anyone between the ages of 14-18 is welcome to join.
