We will meet virtually (via Microsoft Teams) every first Wednesday of the month from 3-4 PM to discuss the selected book. Online registration is required. You will receive an email with a meeting link the day before the event.

Join us on the first and third Thursdays of the month at Inklings, our teen creative writing club. Bring your writing to share and get feedback from other teens. AARP Tax Aide will once again be available at the Northwest Branch Library. This service will be available Fridays from 1 pm to 5 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm. Service Begins: Friday, February 6, 2026 – Ends: Wednesday, April 15, 2026. No service on Friday, April 3 or Saturday, April 4 due to the Easter holiday.
Join us for an interactive early literacy experience for preschoolers and their caregivers. This program is geared toward children ages 3-6 years old and features songs, books, and crafts each week!
This program is a wonderful way to promote early literacy, social skills, and kindergarten readiness skills!
Space is limited. Please pick up your free tickets at the Children's Reference Desk the morning of the program to gain entry to Sapling story time.
In honor of Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we will be making kid-friendly sushi look-alikes with Rice Krispies, Fruit Roll-ups and candy! All supplies provided.
