Come ready to move and dance for the Move and Read Aloud Program brought to the JC Library by the Houston Ballet! Dance to Learn is a movement integration program that approaches academic curriculum from a kinesthetic perspective. A storytime format, but with LOTS more movement and dancing!

Are you looking for a way to continue to improve your English skills? ESL Classes are underway at the Aldine Branch Library.
The Aldine Branch Library will be offering:

- We will meet once a week on Tuesdays March 31st, 2026 - May 19th from 1pm - 2:30pm
A pre-assessment test is required. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you.
These courses are free of charge.
Are you an artist? Writer? Philosopher? History fan? Have you ever wanted to show the world your work? Yes, there is the internet but there is also the magical world of zines! This low-tech platform just requires a paper and pen to create your own publication. Learn about zines and create your own.
This program is for teens.
