Teens ages 12-18 are invited to learn how to bake homemade jam tarts from a recipe in Michaels Desserts by Michael Platt at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Thursday, February 26th at 4:30pm.

This recipe includes dairy, fruit, gluten, egg, and sugar. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.

A waiver is required to attend the program which will be emailed upon registration.

In honor of Black History Month, we are going to be making a paper bag backpack inspired by Ruby Bridges desire to get an education. She was the first African American student to integrate an elementary school in the South. 

This program is geared for kids ages 6 and up.
