Have you ever wanted to learn a new skill?

This program is for grades 6-12 only.

Cursive writing is more than just penmanship. It is an integrated skill that enhances cognitive development, motor skills, and literacy. The seamless, flowing motion used to form cursive letters stimulates brain synapses and the synchronization of the hands and eyes, unlike the disjointed taps of a keyboard. Studies suggest that the practice of cursive writing activates areas of the brain involved in thinking, language, and working memory.

De-stress, unwind, and enjoy the almost-magical calm that comes from painting with watercolors. We will be honoring Women's History Month throughout March by paying tribute to different artists!

This week's art will be inspired by the brilliant American artist Georgia O'Keefe.

This is not an art class -- it's a chance to be creative and relax while enjoying each other's company in an encouraging environment.

See the colors flow from your imagination to the paper and let your worries drift away for a while.
