Beginning in February, AARP will be offering free tax assistance to elderly and low-income individuals. AARP assistance will be available on Mondays and Fridays, on February 2 through February 13, from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM. They will be back on Friday, March 3 through Monday, April 13, from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM.
You are encouraged to show up half an hour early to sign up for a spot.

Join us on Tuesday, March 24 at 2 PM for a strength training class for adults presented by Harris County Public Health. The physical activity class uses resistance bands to support safe, low-impact strength, and mobility exercises for all fitness levels. Join us at the Katy Library for Flower Hour, a preschool story time, from 11:15 am-12 pm. This event will take place on the carpet in the children's section of the library. Come dance, sing, and grow while we read books together!
Join with other toddlers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Toddler Time uses age-appropriate stories, songs and playing to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards toddlers ages 6 months through 3 years.
Do you knit/crochet/craft? Please join us for our weekly meeting of the Knotty and Nice Club. We meet for 2 hours and socialize while working on our own projects or community charity projects. Please note that this is not a class but people are always available to help you if you need a LITTLE help. If you have never knitted or crocheted, the library offers many books and a few DVDs to learn. You can find many helpful videos on YouTube as well.
