Join Michael, Octavia Field Library Branch's Children's Librarian, for an hour of nursery rhymes, storytelling, arts & crafts and playtime. We'll talk, sing, write, read and play, and your toddler age kiddos will have so much fun that they won't even realize they are gaining valuable pre-literacy skills. Ages 0-5.
Take a break from homework and studying and hang out in the teen space with puzzles, board games, and snacks! This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school.
Teens grades 6 to 12 come hang out with fellow anime/manga fans to watch anime and enjoy Japanese snacks!
Join us for a flavorful cooking demonstration featuring Cambodian curry! Learn about the ingredients, techniques, and cultural traditions behind this comforting dish while watching it be prepared step by step. AARP Tax Aide will once again be available at the Northwest Branch Library. This service will be available Fridays from 1 pm to 5 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm. Service Begins: Friday, February 6, 2026 – Ends: Wednesday, April 15, 2026. No service on Friday, April 3 or Saturday, April 4 due to the Easter holiday.

Calling all nature lovers, ages 7-18! We're thrilled to announce we are partnering with Mercer Botanic Gardens once again for garden club! We will meet on Wednesdays from April 1 through April 22 from 9 am to 10:15 am. Please bring gloves and water and wear closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and anything else you may need to beat the heat and bugs! We will meet in front of the Baldwin Boettcher Library about ten minutes beforehand.
