Need help preparing your taxes? AARP will prepare your taxes for FREE!
Available only on Mondays and Fridays from 10AM to 2PM.
You will need to bring:
- the completed AARP tax packet (available at the library),
- a driver's license/state ID,
- social security card, and
- any relevant tax information/forms.
This program is first come, first serve for walk-ins.
This year AARP will also offer appointments. Appointments can be made over the phone or in-person.

AARP Tax Aide will once again be available at the Northwest Branch Library. This service will be available Fridays from 1 pm to 5 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm. Service Begins: Friday, February 6, 2026 – Ends: Wednesday, April 15, 2026. No service on Friday, April 3 or Saturday, April 4 due to the Easter holiday.
Come to our Passport Fair and get your passport submitted! The Passport Fair will take place on Friday, February 27th, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM (before the library opens for regular hours) at the Northwest Library (11355 Regency Green Dr, Cypress, TX). The Fair will be hosted by LSC-Tomball Community Library staff.
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the 3D printer.
This class is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
We will meet in the Innovation Lab on the 2nd Floor.

Stop by the Teen Space as we celebrate Women's History Month with a fun game where teens get to create fun captions to innovative paintings.
This program is open to ages 12-17,18 if in high school.
Join with other toddlers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Toddler Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards toddlers ages 18 months through 3 years.
Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Toddler Time.
