Welcome to our smartphone classes!
In this class you will learn:
- What notifications are
- Notification center basics
- Turning notifications on/off fro specific apps
- Do Not Disturb/Focus mode
- Managing sound and vibration alerts
These classes are free and you do not need to register. You also do not need a library card to attend. I will provide handouts from the lesson for you to take home.

Dare to be brave and join us on March 30, 2026, to celebrate Paper Bag Princess Day! We will read Robert Munsch's classic children's book and do an activity that highlights all of the ways that we, too, can be courageous in the face of adversity!

Need help preparing your taxes? AARP will prepare your taxes for FREE!
Available only on Mondays and Fridays from 10AM to 2PM.
You will need to bring:
- the completed AARP tax packet (available at the library),
- a driver's license/state ID,
- social security card, and
- any relevant tax information/forms.
This program is first come, first serve for walk-ins.
This year AARP will also offer appointments. Appointments can be made over the phone or in-person.

Little Sprouts Baby Story Time is a ticketed story time that is every Tuesday at 11 am at the Katy Library. Please make sure to arrive early to receive a ticket. This event is for non-walking babies only. We ask that older children are left out for safety.
