For the month of October, we will combine our toddler story time with our Family Place Parent Child Workshop! Each week we will introduce an early childhood topic with a story and fingerplay. A community expert in each topic will be on hand for one-on-one time with parents while the children will have extra toys and playtime. Topics include: Early Literacy, Nutrition, Developmental Milestones, Speech and Language Development, and Movement. Check with the Crosby Library for the schedule and list of community experts.

“What Does this thing do?” Learn basic features of your sewing machine and get started sewing.

  • Basic Sewing Supplies and Fabric will be provided for in-class use.
  • Feel free to bring your own supplies.
  • Limited Baby Lock sewing machines are available for in class use by reservation.
  • Students are encouraged to bring their own machines to class to learn on.
  • Required materials are noted in the class descriptions.
  • All ages are welcome. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Teens, want to get involved with making the library an inviting and fun place for teens? Or just need some volunteer hours? 

Join our Teen Advisory Group (TAG)! Ages 12-18 welcome (if 18, must still be in high school).
Teens will assist in planning teen programs they want to see offered at the library.

Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 am for Baby Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time program is designed for babies from birth to 18 months old. We share books, songs, rhymes, music, bubbles, and toys! We also learn some early literacy tips and activities. It’s a great way to meet other caregivers and to give your baby a chance to socialize.

Siblings are always welcome.

This program is held in our library meeting room.

No registration or tickets required.
