Sew like a pioneer! In this 2.5 hour beginning sewing program on July 17th at 10:00am, Norola Morgan will teach foundational stitches and offer background about 3 different historical quilt blocks: 9 patch, log cabin, and crazy quilting. She’ll show examples of each and provide all materials for up to 10 students. Supplies are limited, please register for this program.

The West U Library is partnering with the West U Senior Center for this celebration of America on July 2nd at 12pm where snacks, games, horns, and trivia will be provided. Get ready to move! Move to the Beat is a high-energy, all-ages dance hour held every other Friday* from 4:30–5:30 PM. Using Just Dance and guided fitness routines, participants can sing along, follow the choreography, and enjoy a fun way to stay active. Everyone is welcome to join in! We’ll begin and end with light stretching to promote safe movement, and water bottles are provided to help everyone stay hydrated. No experience needed — just bring your energy and get ready to dance!
Switch 2 Play is a weekly Thursday event at 4:00 PM in the library, where people of all ages can relax and connect through popular games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart World, Just Dance, Street Fighter VI, and more! All necessary equipment—including the console, controllers, and seating—is provided for a fun and easygoing gaming experience, though feel free to bring your own controllers if you prefer!
