"Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative (HILSC) plays a critical role convening, coordinating, and communicating in the legal services community. Through our work, more immigrants are receiving low-cost, high-quality legal services for immigration issues in Houston." - HILSC, Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative.

This workshop will cover "Know Your Rights" resources to create a rapid response plan, as well as provide a comprehensive list of trusted legal service providers and organizations within the community.

Join us for a craft time for our youngest artists! This activity is intended for children ages 2 and up.

Registration is strongly encouraged, so we can get a head count -- we want to have enough materials for everyone who wants to join in on the fun! Depending on weather and mess level, this program will either be outside the library or in the children's section upstairs.

This Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Club Meets Online the 4th Wednesday of the Month. January-October.  November is usually the 3rd Wednesday.

Join us for Toddler Story Time, an early literacy program where we share stories, songs, and rhymes! This program is for children ages 18 months to 3 years old and their caregivers. 

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. NO REGISTRATION. HOWEVER, THERE ARE ONLY 12 SPOTS.

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for Toddler Time with Ms. Amberly! We will read stories, work out our wiggles, and sing some songs.

This story time includes stories, songs, and activities. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal! Surprise! Each child may choose one free book at the end of the program!

Tickets are required for this program. They are free and available 30 minutes before the program begins in the Children’s Department. .
