Adults learning English are invited to join us each month for E.S.L. Cafe!

E.S.L.* Cafe is a monthly English practice program for adults. It is an informal & social time -- not a class. We play table games, board games, card games, & conversation games. Everyone practices English together in small groups. E.S.L. Cafe is a relaxed & supportive environment where everyone learns from each other!

Come when you can, stay as long as you want. All levels are welcome! Coffee & refreshments provided.

Get first pick of our large selection of clearance books. 100% of proceeds go to fund Freeman Library programs. **If you are not a member of the Friends of Freeman Library you may join at the door.

Friends of Freeman Library are having their semi-annual porch book sale! A whole porch full of books for all ages at rock bottom prices to help you tackle your holiday shopping! A large selection of clearance fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, paperbacks, DVDs and CDs awaits you. Also available will be our exclusive book-themed merchandise from the Friends of Freeman: mugs, totebags, and bookmarks. 100% of proceeds go to fund Freeman Library programs. Looking for homework help? Come on in to your local library to find the resources you need for success! Aldine Library will offer a quiet space for teens and kids on Thursdays @ 5:30 PM. Librarians will be on hand to provide assistance.

Harris County Public Library offers a variety of free resources, including computers, printers, and access to special research websites available with your library card.

Note: Librarians will not do the homework nor can we guarantee any grades; this program is here to offer assistance answering questions.
