Storytime for Toddlers
Join Ms. Sharon for a lively, interactive storytime designed especially for toddlers. Little ones will enjoy singing, movement, and simple dinosaur-themed stories in a fun and welcoming environment.
This program includes songs, early literacy activities, and a hands-on craft.

Come stomp, sway and roar as we learn a fun dinosaur dance and enjoy fun dinosaur-themed activities!
This program is for kids ages 4-8 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins online one week prior.
Join with other toddlers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Toddler Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards toddlers ages 18 months through 3 years.
Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Toddler Time.
This orientation session will introduce participants to the digital conversion equipment usage at the LSC - Tomball Community Library.
After registering, you should receive an emailed link to the online class orientation materials. Viewing the material is required to attend this workshop. We ask that you reschedule to a future workshop date if you are unable to review the material before attending.
You may PICK ONE of the following items for practice conversion:
2-5 large portraits or delicate old photographs
2-3 old letters or certificates
There will be a brief lesson for beginners at the beginning of the session. Each class go over the following:
- How each chess pieces move
- Chess rules
- Review how to use a chess clock
- How to use notation
- How to set up the chess board
- Discuss special moves
- Describe check and checkmate
- Review chess principals
- Cover minor tactics
- Discuss end game principals
- Then members will get a chance to play each other

Summer is full of possibilities... so we are doing crafternoon programs that are mysterious to keep the crafting alive.
**Please note that due to limited supplies, each patron will get to make (1) item.
Use polymer clay to create and mold mini figurines
***All other supplies provided***

*Due to weather, this event will be rescheduled.* "Pop" on in for our summer bubble party! We will have multiple bubble stations and sidewalk chalk for all to use! This outdoor event is for children of all ages!
Please remember to wear your sunscreen/bug spray and bring plenty of water! No tickets or registration required.
A bashful dinosaur enlists her friends and the audience to help her overcome her shyness and find her voice just in time for the annual Dino Day Talent Show. Her friend, Thunder Roar Rex discovers that he doesn't need to be loud to feel good about himself, and Bobby the beat-boxing Brontosaurus realizes that he doesn't need to have all the answers all the time. Together, they learn how to work as a team to put on a great talent show.
