Start the new year of right by creating journals and vision boards. Join us on Wednesday, January 7, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. We will have supplies for whatever kind of journaling you wish to engage in, from bullet journaling to junk journaling to dream journaling. Journals will be provided if you don't already have one. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required.

Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!
This orientation session will instruct participants on using the 3D printer in the library . Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer. Attendees will receive the 3D printer and Dremel 3D45 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.

Geri-Fit is a tier III (highest level) evidence-based health promotion program and chronic disease self-management support program. Designed exclusively for older adults, Geri-Fit helps rebuild strength that's been lost through the aging process. Any older adult, regardless of their age or fitness level, can participate.
Classes are offered twice a week -- Tuesday and Thursday for 45 minutes.
Seniors 55+ are invited to join the Maud Marks Library’s Timeless Travelers program for a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. The permanent collection of the museum spans more than 5,000 years of history with nearly 80,000 works from six continents. By gallery space, it is the second-largest art museum in the Americas. The bus will be departing on Thursday, January 22.
