Whether you're working on a school project, want to get creative with crafts, or just hang out and chat with friends, we’ve got the supplies and the space. Come by for a laid-back afternoon with plenty of room for imagination, conversation, and community.

Book Buddies is a FREE program that pairs children with adult volunteers to share the joy of reading together. For 10 weeks, the Adult and Little Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading. Open to children in grades K-3rd.
Turn reading into an adventure and watch your child's confidence grow! Our Spring cycle of Book Buddies will run from March 18th to May 20th.
Looking for homework help? Come on in to your local library to find the resources you need for success! Aldine Library will offer a quiet space for teens and kids on Thursdays @ 5: 30 PM. Librarians will be on hand to provide assistance

Step into the Literacy League, where stories come to life!
Our Chapter Champions (teens) are ready to guide your Story Seekers (children; grades K-3rd) through the wonders of the written word in stories, information, and books.
The Literacy League is a literacy program to provide teen mentorship and guidance to K-3rd graders pursuant to establishing and promoting a culture of literacy and books at the library and beyond into their home Reading Refuge.
Join us for a nature walk through the Hedwig Village Park on Wednesday, April 15 at 4:15pm. We'll meet at the library and walk to the park together, parents and guardians too! Spring is the time when nature is starting to wake up! We'll all have scavenger hunt sheets and record what we find.
This program is for ages 5-9, but siblings are welcome!
