Discovery Time with Miss Christine is a fun and engaging story time for the whole family! Each week, we build literacy skills through the five essential practices: playing, singing, talking, reading, and writing.
For: Pre-School & Elementary (ages 3 - 10 years old). Younger siblings may participate under the active supervision of a parent or caregiver, provided they are registered and do not disrupt the program.

Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
Join us on Saturday and create your own vibrant paper molas inspired by the traditional textile art! Layer colorful paper to design bold, eye-catching patterns while learning about this unique cultural craft. It's a fun, hands-on way to get creative and celebrate artistic expression from around the world!
Get creative and bring your imagination to life with Graph Paper Pixel Art! Design colorful pictures one square at a time and discover how simple shapes can become amazing works of art. Join us for a fun, hands-on activity where you can create, share, and enjoy your own pixel-perfect masterpiece!
Join us for our Tween Book Club! We will discuss the book of the month, have snacks, and enjoy book related activities. This month we will be reading "The Smartest Kid in the Universe" by Chris Grabenstein.
On Friday, September 11th, we will discuss chapters 1-36.
On Friday, September 25th, we will discuss the rest of the book.
This book club is intended for children ages 8-12. Online registration is required; space is limited.
Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that brings child and teens together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grades (Little Buddies).
Each Wednesday for 10 weeks, Big Buddies and Little Buddies will meet to read together and create positive experiences surrounding literacy. By the end of the session, we aspire that all Little Buddies will learn to love to read and form positive associations with reading.
Bring your creativity to life with this after-school craft program. Try your hand at a new craft each week and take home a masterpiece!
Recommended for school-age children ages 5-12.
Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Children’s Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Drop off new or gently used Halloween costumes and accessories at the library and help stock the Boo-tique.
All ages and sizes are welcome!
