Three soldiers in one presentation! Today’s Americans find it hard to comprehend the difficulties the patriots of the American Revolution had to endure. This program begins with a fully equipped British soldier. Each item of uniform and equipment is explained. This standard is then contrasted with the typical American Continental soldier and rifleman. The program is suitable for primary and upper level grades.

In the bustling town of Roarsville, every dinosaur gets to shine in the annual Dino Day Talent Show—except for Shy-a-saurus Rex, a timid young T-Rex with stage fright and a soft voice that barely makes a squeak. Though she has a big imagination and a heart full of dreams, Shy-a-saurus is too nervous to share her talents.
Join us each day for an art camp!
Kids will learn and create something brand new each day of the week and get a free field trip to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston on Friday!
Space is limited. Registration for this program is first-come first-serve, but there will be a waitlist.
The program is open to children ages 7 to 12 years old. Parents must register their child in-person at the Aldine Branch Library (11331 Airline Dr., Houston, TX 77037)
