Join us for an adventure in Hispanic folktales. This show features a variety of characters from a wide range of cultures in stories that celebrate the various folk tale traditions of the Spanish-speaking world. 

Your young audience will love these high-energy stories being brought to life.

Recommended for children ages 2-5. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and explore some of the most well-known tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs. Presented by Classical Sing Move Play.

Free tickets are required and available at the Kid's Information Desk at 10 AM the day of the program.  The tickets may run out quickly, please plan accordingly.

Are you interested in True crime? Join us in the Meeting Room on Septepmber 24th for a special presentation about what the Harris County District Clerk’s Office does and what resources they offer!

After, they will be giving a small presentation on the Queen of Tejano, Selena Quintinilla, and the criminal court case involving Yolanda Saldivar.

There will be a takeaway craft of a single white rose while supplies last

Registration is required as seating is limited. Registration will guarantee you a craft kit.

Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Classical Sing Move Play: Music of Mexico!

Created by opera singers Alisa and Alejandro Magallón, this class explores some of the most well known tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs.

Recommended for ages 2-5. Children of all ages are welcome.

No registration required.

We will meet on the rug in the children's area.

Teens ages 12-18 are invited to learn how to cook pumpkin empanadas at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Saturday, September 26th at 3:00 PM. This recipe will include gluten, pumpkin, sugar, and dairy. Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

A waiver is required to attend the program which will be emailed upon registration.

This will be a ticketed program. To enter the program, you must have a ticket!
Pick up your ticket at the front desk. Tickets are free and available at 3:30, an hour before the program starts. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so please plan accordingly.

Come celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a fun, hands-on craft! Create and decorate your very own mini piñata to take home. All supplies will be provided. This program is for ages 5-17.
