In honor of Hispanic Heritage month (and since its also October) we'll be making cute skulls out of Perler beads. What kind of skulls exactly? think of Día de los Muertos and those beautiful and colorful skulls with flowers and designs. All materials will be provided. We hope to see you here!

HCPL has partnered with Oldways to present classes on how to eat healthy by following a traditional Latin American diet!

This program will feature two dishes rich in herbs, spices, and tubers. Those dishes are:

  • Porotos Granados (Cranberry Bean Stew)
  • Sikil Pak (Mayan Pumpkin Seed Dip)

Library staff will give a presentation on the dishes and prepare them for everyone to share! 

This event will be held in the Children's Activity Space.
