The Friends of the Northwest Branch Library are holding their semi-annual book sale! A whole room of books for all ages, movies, music, and more! Most everything will be $1-$2 and 100% of the money earned at the sale go right back to the Northwest library to help fund our programs. So go crazy, give in to your inner book goblin! After all, it's not an addiction! It's giving back to your community!
Adults – we welcome you to join us in the upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom on Thursday, November 05 at 10:15 AM to the Next Chapter’s presentation in the Lone Star Flight Museum Lecture Series. Gary Watt looks forward to presenting "Made in Texas: 116 Years of Texas Aviation History.” This free event requires no registration.

Prepare for all four sections of the Citizenship Exam.
Schedule a one-on-one and receive assistance with common computer tasks, Microsoft Word and Excel, and internet navigation. Whether you’re learning to use your computer, smartphone, or tablet, our knowledgeable staff here to guide you every step of the way. 1-hour appointments are available on Wednesdays at 2 PM and 3 PM. Registration opens one week in advance.
Want to learn English? Join us for a beginner English Class every Saturday at 2 PM starting on August 22. This class is free to join and all materials are provided. Please come to the library to register at the front desk before the start date. After the class begins, walk in registrations are welcome on a first come first served basis.
