Adults – the Next Chapter Monday Matinee continues Monday, August 24 at 2:00 in our Upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom. We look forward to seeing Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the rip-roaring third installment of the Indiana Jones saga, Indy's chance discovery of a detailed diary reunites him with his long-lost archaeologist father. Both seek to uncover the whereabouts of the fabled Holy Grail while contending with an alluring undercover Nazi agent. This film stars Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Alison Doody, Denholm Elliott, and John Rhys-Davies.
We will host our next cooking event on Thursday, August 20 at 10:15 AM in the downstairs Meeting Room. Participants will be instructed on how to make Barbacoa, a Mexican-style, slow-roasted, seasoned beef. The food prepared will be provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.
Come join us to turn books into beautiful pieces of art just by folding the pages inside. Books will be provided but feel free to bring your own hardback book, preferably at least 300 pages long (the more pages the better!). *Supplies are limited; registration is required. This event is for adults only.
