This course is designed to provide an introduction to computer technology for beginners. In six modules, we will cover the essential concepts of hardware, software, operating systems, and the practical computer skills needed for everyday tasks. Upon completion, students will have a solid understanding of how computers work and how to use them confidently.

Join us at the Parker Williams Library for our diamond painting club meeting! Relax, chat and enjoy this beginner friendly adult club. Diamond painting is a craft activity that involves applying tiny resin rhinestones to a pre-printed canvas to create a mosaic-style art piece. It's also known as crystal art or 5D painting.
This craft is a series since diamond painting may take some time. Patrons must finish a painting before they will be allowed to start a new one.

The Next Chapter Feature Film Series (FFS) concludes for the season on Thursday, May 14 starting at 10:15 AM in our upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom. We look forward to showing Drop, the 2025 psychological thriller about a widowed mother’s first date in years taking a terrifying turn when she’s bombarded with anonymous threatening messages on her phone during their upscale dinner. The Next Chapter Classics Revisited continues Thursday, May 07 at 10:15 AM in our upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom. We look forward to showing The Incredibles, the 2004 Disney Pixar animated film about a family of undercover superheroes forced into action to save the world. This film features the vocal talents of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, Jason Lee, and Teddy Newton. Rated PG, The Incredibles lasts 1 hour, 55 minutes and includes Closed Captions.
