The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library will host beginning Spanish classes for adults ages 18+. The facilitator will teach everyday words and phrases in the Spanish language, and each student will practice saying these words. We will have four consecutive classes, and we require registration for all four classes. The registration limit is twenty.  We will meet in the Baldwin Boettcher Conference Room, and the physical address is 22248 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble Texas 77338.

June 1st at 12pm - ChatGPT & A.I. Basics
June 8th at 12pm - Microsoft Word
June 15th at 12pm - Smart Phone Basics Class

Classes are free and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required before anyone can attend. To register for class, fill out the registration form, email or call the branch. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you and check to see if there are any open spaces available.

Bring seeds, plant cuttings, and potted plants to swap with other plant lovers! Restock and curate our community seed library. 

Stay and talk with new friends about gardening and nature. Tea and cookies will be provided for your chat!
(first come, first serve).

Bring seeds from your garden or store seed packets to the Plant Swap to add to our new Seed Library. The Seed Library will offer free seeds for the community. Share your gardening knowledge!

Texas Sized Pride for America's 250th - Preserving our Heritage: Step into history and discover the people, places, and events that shaped our nation. Through engaging storytelling and vivid illustrations, the exhibit’s display panels and interactive kiosks bring to life the stories behind our country’s founding.

The exhibit will be on display at the Katy Library for the entire month of July, during regular library business hours.

This exhibit is sponsored by the Sam Houston Chapter, Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
