Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Whether you're a jaded Rogue looking for a change of scenery or a new bright-eyed, bushy-tailed Bard hoping to make a splash among your comrades, this is the place for you. Bring your whole party to seek new adventures at the library!

This program is best suited for adults (including "new" adults) only; ages 18 and up
Campaigns will run their course; no one-offs. Registration is required. Space is limited.

Adults will sample an assortment of chocolates—from fancy artisan treats to budget‑friendly basics, and from big‑name favorites to mysterious off‑brand challengers. You’ll try dark, milk, and white chocolate varieties as you discover which flavors truly win your heart. Cast your votes, make your guesses, and enjoy the big reveal: were your favorites the pricey picks or the sleeper hits? Perfect for chocolate lovers, curious samplers, and anyone who enjoys a little friendly foodie competition.

Bring your items to mend. Use our makerspace sewing machines to mend and/or create your own items. 

You must already know how to use the machine. Instruction is not included in this program.

Basic color thread is here, if you need a special color, you must bring it.

Adults who are learning English are invited to come to E.S.L. Cafe each month at Kingwood Library!

At E.S.L. Cafe, we play tabletop games (board games, card games, and conversation games) in English.

Join us for a welcoming, supportive space to practice English and connect with others in your community.

Come when you want and stay as long as you want. All levels are welcome! Coffee and refreshments provided.

This class will teach you the basics of Microsoft Excel 2019 as well as some of the tips and tricks that are needed to create and navigate your spreadsheets. Basic computer skills are required.

All classes start within five minutes of the announced time; classes are cancelled if no registered attendees arrive within fifteen minutes of announced time.
