What is AI (artificial intelligence) and how does it work? Come find out in this informational session presented by certified AI Consultant Captain Dr. Charles Nkherbu. He will discuss the basics of AI, how to use it safely and wisely, as well as the pros and cons of AI. All ages are welcome, but most of the presentation will be geared towards teens and adults. Join us in this very popular and relaxing craft activity. Diamond painting involves applying tiny resin rhinestones to a pre-printed canvas to create a mosaic-style art piece. Beginners are welcome and you will be able to create a patriotic themed keychain or magnet.

Get ready for Kingwood Library's 5th Annual Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament.
This event is open to teens and adults.
Team size limited to 2 - 4 persons. Tournament is limited to 10 teams.
Only one team member needs to register for the whole team.

This orientation session on Wednesday, June 24, at 6:30 PM will instruct participants on how to use the Epson Fastfoto, a high-speed photo scanning system in the library. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule time to use the Fastfoto machines at HCPL branches and MakerCentral, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice.
Texas Sized Pride for America's 250th - Preserving our Heritage: Step into history and discover the people, places, and events that shaped our nation. Through engaging storytelling and vivid illustrations, the exhibit’s display panels and interactive kiosks bring to life the stories behind our country’s founding.
The exhibit will be on display at the Katy Library for the entire month of July, during regular library business hours.
