This orientation session is intended for teen volunteers and a completed, intact, and ready application packet is required to be admitted to the orientation. 

To apply to be a teen volunteer at the HCPL-West University Branch Library, applicants must:

• complete a printed copy of the application packet, ( LINK TO APPLICATION PACKET HERE )
• be between the ages of 15-18, have their guardian’s p

Overview

Swing by the library and pick up a volunteer application packet to volunteer and earn service hours this summer. 

If you are a minor, i.e.

Come make a craft! This is for children ages 2 and up. 

Where: Upstairs in the kids' area or outside. 

Note: First come, first served. We hope and aim to have enough supplies for everyone to join the fun.

Sew like a pioneer! In this 2.5 hour beginning sewing program on July 17^th at 10:00am, Norola Morgan will teach foundational stitches and offer background about 3 different historical quilt blocks: 9 patch, log cabin, and crazy quilting. She’ll show examples of each and provide all materials for up to 10 students. Supplies are limited, please register for this program.

Why do kids get to have all the fun when it comes to crafts? Join us on July 6^th at 2:30 pm for a dinosaur themed craft for adults. Who said we stopped loving dinosaurs when we grew up? Supplies are limited, please register for this program.
