Make a sweet and colorful treat with us to share with the family (or just for yourself). All adults (18+) are invited to learn the basic techniques of Rainbow Blondies and to take some home.
Spring Branch Memorial Branch Library
Movies that inspire. Conversations that empower.
Relax, unwind, and ease some stress. AND enjoy refreshments!
We have plenty of coloring pages and pencils but feel free to bring your favorites. It's summer, so that means it'll be hot, but inside the library it's cool. We'll have iced coffee for a fancy twist!
Join the Page Turners for a lively book discussion once a month. This month we will be reading The Wedding People by Alison Espach.
Join us for a presentation about the history of Juneteenth. Known as Freedom Day, it commemorates the day that Federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to ensure that all enslaved people be freed. This presentation will map Juneteenth from that day in 1865 to when we declared a national holiday in 2021.
Join us for a presentation all about dinosaurs! The Houston Museum of Natural Science docents will be at our branch to talk all things dinosaurs.
Please note, this is a ticketed event. Tickets will be handed out 15 minutes before the presentation. All ages are welcome.
UPDATE: Registration for art camp has reached capacity and is now closed. (6/9/2026)
Join us for fun and games! Especially if you LOVE math. Mathnasium of Memorial City will be providing us with an afternoon of math-related activities and games for ages 6 and up.
Discover the science of sound through interactive experiments and musical demonstrations at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Tuesday, June 2 at 4:00 PM! Participants will explore how sound travels through vibrations, investigate different forms of energy, and rotate through hands-on lab stations focused on sound waves, energy transfer, and the Law of Conservation of Energy. Recommended for 3rd – 5th Grade or ages 8-12.
It's the first day of Summer Reading and we're so excited we're throwing a party! Come to the library and register the whole family for SRP (you, too, adults!) and enjoy some fun crafts while you do it. We just can't wait to get started and we hope you join us.
Please note that parents must register their children for the SRP program, therefore parents are required at this event.
