Are you ready to learn English? Are you looking for a way to improve your English conversation skills?
Classes are free and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required before anyone can attend. To register for class, fill out the registration form, email or call the branch. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you and check to see if there are any open spaces available.
This FREE Art Camp is a program in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH) that has been available at HCPL branches since Summer 2000. This program is made available to us for free, thanks to grants that the MFAH receives.

Join us at the Parker Williams Library Innovation Lab for our Laser Cutter Orientation!
This orientation session will introduce participants to the laser-cutting services we offer at the library. Those who complete the orientation will then be able to request supervised time to use a laser cutter at any HCPL branch that has one.
Do you want to start a garden, or add to your existing one? Come to our First Annual Plant Sale to shop for a variety of vegetable, herb, and flower plants! Prices start at just $1 and 100% of all raised funds go towards future library programs.
