Harris County Public Library’s Book Buddies is a FREE, fun-filled literacy program that pairs enthusiastic, trained teen volunteers (our amazing Big Buddies) with younger readers (Little Buddies) for 9 weeks of reading adventures!

The Nutrition Facts Label class teaches participants how to read and understand key information on food labels, including serving sizes, calories, nutrients, and % Daily Value. Participants will learn practical skills to compare products and make more informed, healthier food choices. Registration is required.

Join other toddlers and their parents or caregivers for weekly Toddler Time Storytime every Thursday at 10:15 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. Each session features age-appropriate stories, songs, and fingerplays designed to encourage early literacy, movement, and fun interaction.
This program is specially geared for toddlers ages 18–35 months and their caregivers. No ticket required—just drop in and join the fun!
