This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the 3D printer.

This class is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

We will meet in the Meeting Room on the 1st Floor.

Registration is required.

Join with other toddlers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Toddler Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards toddlers ages 18 months through 3 years.

Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Toddler Time.

Watercolor for “Young at heART” adults meets every Tuesday morning to enjoy watercolor painting while commiserating with fellow artists! This friendly and social group is open to all adults and to all levels of art experience, including those who have never painted with watercolor at all. Sometimes the group works on individual projects and sometimes there is an art education period. Sometimes you will learn something new and sometimes you can teach something to others. Join in for a morning of beautiful art and fun conversation!

Each month, library staff with expertise in history will give a talk about different topics in American history to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Come join us to learn all about the evolution of American medicine and healthcare!

Participants bring their own lunch to enjoy (optional!) while watching genealogy how-to webinars presented by experts in the field, then discuss how to apply the knowledge gained in their own research.  The topic of each session will be decided shortly prior to the start of the program, based on input from the participants.

Some copies are available downstairs at the Reference Desk and at each meeting, but each member is responsible for obtaining their own copy. Please check out our catalog to request a book!
