Krafty Kids is a whimsical environment where children can express their creativity through a variety of artistic activities, ranging from painting to sculpting. With an extensive selection of supplies and guided sessions, kids have the opportunity to explore their talents and craft unique masterpieces to take home. Join us every Wednesday at 3:45 PM for an inspiring creative adventure!

Tweens will spend one hour each week for four weeks exploring the world of sewing through a variety of fun, hands-on projects. They’ll learn different stitches and patterns while building their skills, confidence, and creative freedom.

Let's make some fun accessories just in time for Halloween! We'll be using UV resin, pigments, glitter, and more to make jewelry, keychains, and trinkets.

Ages 18+.

Note: We will have ventilation, but we will be working with materials that may create fumes. Also, just in case, please wear clothing that you don't mind being permanently stained.

Unwind after school Mondays and Thursdays at the library! Chat with your friends, work on homework, and enjoy your snacks.

This event is open to tween and teens only. No registration is required, but space and supplies may be limited.

Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that brings child and teens together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grades (Little Buddies).

Each Wednesday for 10 weeks, Big Buddies and Little Buddies will meet to read together and create positive experiences surrounding literacy. By the end of the session, we aspire that all Little Buddies will learn to love to read and form positive associations with reading.

Immerse yourself in a whirlwind of whimsical stories, catchy tunes, and playful rhymes that will bring joy to little ones' faces. Don't forget to bring along your coziest blanket or your snuggliest stuffed friend for that extra touch of magic!

Join the High Meadows Library and The Michelle Project for a special Saturday story time! These interactive story times are suitable for all ages and abilities. We’ll explore the world of early literacy through singing, talking, writing, playing, and reading! Each super fun educational adventure is inspired by celebrations and traditions from that month. There's always a free book waiting for you at every session!

Learn the basics, practice, and have fun playing chess in a friendly environment. You can bring your own chess board or use one of ours.
