Alebrijes are colorful, imaginative folk-art figures from Mexico, often featuring fantastical combinations of animals, bright colors, and unique patterns. At this hands-on program, you’ll use clay and wire to build your own creature, then bring it to life with paint and your own creative style.
Calling all tweens and teens who love to write, doodle, decorate, brainstorm, create, or simply put pen to paper! Join us for the very first meeting of Pens & Pages, a new journaling club where creativity has no rules.
Whether you’re into traditional journaling, junk journals, creative writing, poetry, lists, collages, or anything in between, this is a space to get creative, try something new, and connect with other creative minds.
Come hang out, make something, share ideas, and fill a few pages. Snacks are included!

This program is for ages 9-12.
Registration is required.
We will meet in-person in the Spring Branch Memorial Library Meeting Room.
Once registered, you will be contacted when a copy of the book is available for pick up.
