Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for a trip into the (not so) distant past!

Ever wondered how we played games on the computer before Roblox? Technology, appliances, and everyday objects change over time. Sometimes, it's fast and we have to race to keep up and sometimes it's so slow that when we look back we can't recognize what we used to use every day.

Discover new old objects and unearth their stories from our past.

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for a trip to ancient Egypt!

Ms. Janet is bringing an ancient twist to her Ripley's inspired program: Can You Believe It!? King Tut edition.

She will have bizarre facts about the infamous young Pharaoh. There will also an archaeologist to talk about what they do and give examples of her own work on expeditions. Attendees will then break out to stations where they can do crafts, see "artifacts", color, participate in a dig site, and see how they would perform mummification.
