The National African American Read-In is the nation’s first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature. It was established in 1990 by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month. This initiative has reached more than 6 million participants around the world.

Come join the North Houston Space Society (NSS) for their monthly meeting and learn about the latest happenings in space exploration, as well as what is just around the corner. This program is for anyone interested in getting together to learn and discuss space exploration.

Get creative and make your own paper chain décor with friends! Teens will design and link colorful strips into fun chains to take home or decorate the teen space.

Wow That's STEM youth group presents "Love Launchers". Students will design and launch Valentine-themed straw rockets while exploring how air pressure and force make them fly. They’ll test and improve their designs in a fun mix of creativity and engineering. For Ages 8-12.

Enter the Rock, Paper, Scissors Royale! Teens will battle it out tournament-style until one champion remains to claim the grand prize.

Roll into something sweet with our Candy Sushi program! Teens will use candy and treats to create fun, sushi-style snacks that look cool and taste even better. All supplies will be provided.
