Three soldiers in one presentation! Today’s Americans find it hard to comprehend the difficulties the patriots of the American Revolution had to endure. This program begins with a fully equipped British soldier. Each item of uniform and equipment is explained. This standard is then contrasted with the typical American Continental soldier and rifleman. The program is suitable for primary and upper level grades.

Come join the North Houston Space Society (NSS) for their monthly meeting and learn about the latest happenings in space exploration, as well as what is just around the corner. This program is for anyone interested in getting together to learn and discuss space exploration.

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the 3D printer.

This class is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

We will meet in the Innovation Lab on the 2nd Floor.

Registration is required.

Come watch a movie in the teen space and eat delicious snacks! Movie rotates monthly; May's movie is Strange World (rating: PG). Popcorn and drinks will be provided. This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school.

This is a FREE event open to all. Meet local authors, buy signed books, and share your love of reading! 

Cash or card payments are accepted based on author preferences. The campus has an ATM in the West Hall.

Join us for our Tween Book Club! We will discuss the book of the month, have snacks, and enjoy book related activities. This month we will be reading "How High the Moon?" by Karyn Parsons.

On Friday, July 10th, we will discuss the first half of the book (approx. up to page 144).

On Friday, July 24th, we will discuss the rest of the book.

This book club is intended for children ages 8-12. Online registration is required; space is limited.
