Toddlers
Tales for Tots is a hands-on early literacy program for toddlers aged 24 months to 3 years, focusing on parent-child interactions. Each week is packed with fun as we sing, talk, read, and play, our way through exciting stories, catchy songs, wiggle-worthy movement, creative crafts, and more. A fun and engaging way to develop early literacy skills while making new friends!

¡Sumérgete en el aprendizaje del idioma con esta dinámica e interactiva hora de cuentos en español! Diseñada para mantener a los niños pequeños en movimiento, cada sesión incluye historias llenas de vida, rimas infantiles y canciones pegadizas que introducen los fundamentos de la fonética. No se necesita experiencia previa en español: ¡solo ven listo para moverte, reír y aprender! (Edades: 2 a 4 años)
Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for Toddler Time with Ms. Amberly! We will read stories, work out our wiggles, and sing some songs.

Join us for a pop-up storytime curated especially for toddlers, and meet our new children's librarian! Caregivers and their children (ages 18 months-3 years old) are invited to join us for a half-hour of books, songs, movement, and learning fun!
This event will be held in the Family Place (children's area).

Toddler-Time for Walkers & Non-talkers/Babblers
This Storytime focuses on the developmental needs for "Toddlers," specifically children who are walkers AND non-talkers or babblers.
So, seats and attendance for this Storytime give priority to "toddlers, who are walkers & non-talkers.
Join us each week for Toddler Story Time!
This program features stories, songs, rhymes, and movements designed to promote early literacy skills. Our 30-minute program will conclude with a brief, age-appropriate craft.
Toddler Story Time is intended for kids ages 1-3 years old and their caregivers.
Please note that we cannot accommodate large groups such as daycares. Contact us at ev@hcpl.net to schedule a large group visit. Thank you!
This story time includes stories, songs and activities. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal!
Surprise! Each child may choose one free book to take home at the end of the program!
Tickets are required for all programs, unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Kid's Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first come first served basis.
