Teen Book Club has transformed into Read It and Eat! It's a book club with a twist--during book club, you create something yummy based on this month's theme and then feast. This will be Miss Darla's last book club meeting so the theme will be Goodbyes and the food will be Miss Darla's favorites. Drop and for a snack and say goodbye.

Readers of manga, graphic novels, books, and audiobooks are welcome! Even if you haven't read anything new lately, you can still join us! This program is for readers ages 13-18.

It's been 15 years so our last Teen Stuff Swap and as a final farewell, Miss Darla is bringing it back. Do you need to clean out your closet? Have you outgrown your clothes, books, and games? Bring all he stuff you no longer need and swap it for other people's stuff! 

What you can bring:

This program is for teens in grades 6-12.

Sample a variety of foods from Mexico, Central America, and South America in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Discover the cultural significance behind the foods and try new foods!

Are you interested in True crime? Join us in the Meeting Room on Septepmber 24^th for a special presentation about what the Harris County District Clerk’s Office does and what resources they offer!

After, they will be giving a small presentation on the Queen of Tejano, Selena Quintinilla, and the criminal court case involving Yolanda Saldivar.

There will be a takeaway craft of a single white rose while supplies last

Registration is required as seating is limited. Registration will guarantee you a craft kit.

Switch 2 Play is a weekly Thursday event at 5:00 PM in the library, where people of all ages can relax and connect through popular games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart World, Just Dance, Street Fighter VI, and more! All necessary equipment—including the console, controllers, and seating—is provided for a fun and easygoing gaming experience, though feel free to bring your own controllers if you prefer!

Are you interested in volunteering at the library? Join us for our volunteer orientation. You can pick up an volunteer application from the front desk of the library. Volunteers under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian to fill out the application for volunteering.

Calling all homeschooled kids! Through hands-on activities, experiments, and interactive lessons, children will discover, learn, and explore.
