Join us for our Cricut orientation!

This orientation session will instruct participants on using the Cricut in the library. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule time to use a Cricut at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut. Attendees will receive the Cricut and Cricut Explore Air 2 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.

Join us for an extra special Creativity Corner where we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Make sure you bring your appetite because we will have delicious food! *First-come first serve, while supplies last*

During this program, teens will be able to craft their Halloween/cosplay costume and have access to/assistance using tools including:

• sewing machines
• Glowforge Laser Cutter
• Cricut
• black/white thread and needles
• hand sewing materials
• heat press
• acrylic paint and painting tools

All other materials for costume including fabric, EVA foam, colorful thread, etc. must be provided by the participant.

 This program is for teens 13-18.

Join Future U for this in-depth look on how to prepare and navigate your job search journey. From the beginning steps, we will explain the importance on adopting a positive and deliberate mindset to provide the strength and resilience to not only research the market and employers, but how to find, analyze and successfully apply for current marketable job postings.
