Join us for Homework Help & Hangout every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 4:30 PM! Whether you're working through a difficult assignment, studying for a test, or just looking for a quiet place to focus, the library is here to help.
Each session includes:
Homework help A safe, welcoming study space A simple, fun craft SnacksCome get your homework done, take a creative break, and spend time with friends at the library. We hope to see you there!
Join professional makeup artist Ash for some tips to take your Halloween makeup up a notch! Looking to add a little glamour or gore? This is the lesson for you! Grades 4th - 12th. Tickets are required and a limited number will be available at the customer service desk at 4PM.
Grades 6th - 12th come make a spooky ghost portrait and help the librarian plan future events!
Get Creative with Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut machine capabilities, operation, and use. Completion of this orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut at Harris County Public Library.
- This class is appropriate for ages 8 and up.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult during orientation and appointments.
We will meet in the Meeting Room on the 1st Floor.
Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library. Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.
