Watercolor for “Young at heART” adults meets every Tuesday morning to enjoy watercolor painting while commiserating with fellow artists! This friendly and social group is open to all adults and to all levels of art experience, including those who have never painted with watercolor at all. Sometimes the group works on individual projects and sometimes there is an art education period. Sometimes you will learn something new and sometimes you can teach something to others. Join in for a morning of beautiful art and fun conversation!
Want to learn English? Join us for a beginner English Class every Tuesday at 10:30 AM starting on August 18th. This class is free to join and all materials are provided. Please come to the library to register at the front desk before the start date. After the class begins, walk in registrations are welcome on a first come first served basis.
A weekly Computer Class for Adult Beginners to discover and improve their skills in this increasingly high-tech age. Every week we learn by doing Word, Excel, Email, PDF, Internet Safety, Google Searches, HCPL resources and more! Must have a library card to attend.

This in-person workshop will provide assistance in creating and or updating resumes along with help on your cover letters. Interviewing tips, interactive techniques, and feedback about best practices that are more suited for you on your career search journey.

Meet a Future U College and Career Advisor in-person at the Northwest Library to look over your resume and give you some refresher and refining techniques that can help get your resume noticed. This process is to give advice, recommendations, and feedback that can truly help you move forward with you career journey.
This class, geared towards beginners, will introduce you to file types and folder organization as well as drive management and storage options.
Participants will learn how to create new documents, edit and save documents to the hard drive and a removable drive. Please bring a USB to class if you would like to save your work.
**Please bring their personal laptop computer (PC only) so that they can view and install various free malware and virus protection apps that will be discussed during the class.**

ESL Classes (Various Levels)
All of HCPL English-learning classes are taught by trained volunteer tutors and are completely free to attend. Learning materials are provided.
Beginner ESL Classes for Adults who speak little or no English. You will practice speaking, reading, writing and listening.
Advanced ESL Classes & Conversation Club for Adults who want to reach fluency in English. Practice speaking, reading, writing and listening with native speakers in a nonjudgmental environment.
