Created by opera singers Alisa and Alejandro Magallon, this program explores some of the most well-know tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs.
This program is recommended for ages 2-5. Children of all ages are welcome.
Preschoolers
Join us for a monthly event designed to help reluctant or shy readers gain confidence, with the help of some very good dogs. Paws for Therapy will provide trained therapy dogs, ready to help your child practice their reading! Each participant will get 10 minutes to read a book of their choice to a friendly, non-judgmental dog. It’s guaranteed to be a doggone good time.
Reserve your spot the day of the event by selecting a time slot on our sign-up sheet 30 minutes prior to the program.
Join us for a special story time with the Village Fire Department. The fire department will read stories, show us their gear and their fire truck. To attend the story time, please pick up tickets at the front desk 15 minutes before the program begins. This program is subject to change if an emergency arises that calls on the fire department.
This program is geared for ages 3 and up.
Join the library and The Michelle Project for a special Saturday story time! These interactive story times are suitable for all ages and abilities. We’ll explore the world of early literacy through singing, talking, writing, playing, and reading! Each super fun educational adventure is inspired by celebrations and traditions from that month. There's always a free book waiting for you at every session!
