Come and join us for 45 minutes of sensory exploration and discovery! Our "Little Explorers" program is for preschool age children from 0 - 5 years old and their caregivers. Please dress to get messy! This event is free to attend and all materials will be provided. Each session requires a free ticket for kids in attendance. Tickets are available in the library on the morning of the event.

Craft Program for Kids
Get creative with Ms. Krystle in this hands-on dinosaur-themed craft program. Children will explore art, design, and imagination while creating fun prehistoric projects.

Make whatever you like in our freebuild time or choose from one of our challenge cards. We have OVER 6,000 lego to build with! Open to ages 3-12. Every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.
Storytime fosters early literacy skills and a love for reading in a cozy, welcoming environment. Books, stories, songs, movements and group play time. Come and develop your child’s early literacy skills in this supportive, community environment.
Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and a take-home craft to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards kids ages 3-5 years.
Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.
Step into the prehistoric world with Dino Academy! Led by the quirky and curious Dr. Sarah Tops, this action-packed adventure uncovers fascinating dino facts that will wow even the biggest dino fans. Featuring life-like, colorful dinosaur puppets that stomp, roar, and charm their way into every heart. This show blends science, storytelling, and imagination in the style of your favorite nature programs. It's an unforgettable field trip through time - without ever leaving your seat! DaCamera of Houston presents storytelling through music. Enjoy a musical retelling of Stellaluna by Janell Cannon brought to life by a flutist and violinist. Afterwards, participants will sequence illustrated scenes from the story and complete a simple writing activity.
Recommended for K-2nd grade.
