Last half hour is craft time! Children of all ages are welcome.

Join us for a Capoeira Workshop with Ginga Houston and discover the rich Brazilian tradition of Capoeira. You’ll get an introduction to this unique art form, learn about its history and cultural roots, and even pick up a little Portuguese along the way!
This all-ages workshop is a chance to learn, explore, and experience something you may have never encountered before. No experience necessary. Just come curious and ready to try something new!
Join us for our monthly Lego Club! We provide the Lego's and the kids provide the creativity and imagination! Program is for ages 0-17. Join us for an hour of fun mixed free and themed building.
Choo Choo Club is a weekly Early Literacy Program that travels through the alphabet one letter at a time. You and your child will play, learn and have fun discovering the early literacy skills that will help them become ready to read!
This program is limited to 15 children ages 3-5 and their parents. Registration is required for each event and begins one week in advance. ONLY THE CHILD NEEDS TO REGISTER.

Recommended for children 3 to 5 years old. This program is designed for children who are ready to sit and listen to stories in addition to enjoying songs, fingerplays, and action rhymes.
Tickets are required for all programs, unless otherwise noted. They are free and available at 10:00 am when the library opens at the Children's Reference Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. Lines for the tickets sometimes form before the tickets are distributed. Tickets can run out very quickly so please plan accordingly.
